Frequently Asked Questions

Healing after betrayal, burnout, or postpartum challenges brings so many questions. Here are answers to the ones I hear most often.

1. What is betrayal trauma coaching?

Betrayal trauma coaching is a supportive, forward-focused process designed to help you navigate the emotional shock and disorientation that follow betrayal. Unlike therapy, which often explores the past, coaching focuses on building safety, setting boundaries, and helping you find your footing right now.

2. How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is not therapy. Therapy often dives deep into past wounds and mental health treatment. Coaching is a present‑focused partnership that helps you create clarity, set boundaries, and move toward the life you want. If at any point I believe therapy would better serve you, I will support you with referrals.

3. Can coaching really help if I’m still in crisis?

Yes. Coaching provides a safe, structured space to calm the chaos and help you make clear decisions. We focus on what you need most in the moment — safety, boundaries, or simply a place to breathe.

4. Do you offer support for postpartum mothers?

Absolutely. The postpartum season can be tender and overwhelming, especially when betrayal or emotional strain is part of your story. My coaching can be tailored to support your unique needs during this time, whether through single sessions or a package.

Did you know, Women who receive proactive support—even a single session—within the first 8 weeks postpartum often experience shorter and less severe postpartum depression or anxiety. That’s why I offer personalized postpartum coaching sessions and packages during this critical period, grounded in early, trauma-informed support.

5. How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you are feeling lost, anxious, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward after betrayal or burnout, coaching may be the right fit. Many clients tell me they simply need a safe place to be heard and a guide who understands what they’re going through.

6. What happens in a coaching session?

Each session is a confidential conversation where we focus on your needs and goals. We may explore boundary‑setting, calming your nervous system, reframing difficult emotions, or creating action steps for your healing. You always set the pace.

7. Where do sessions take place?

Sessions can be online, by phone, or in person (for local clients). We’ll choose the option that feels safest and most comfortable for you.

8. Do you work with couples or just individuals?

I work primarily with women as they navigate betrayal trauma and boundary work. My focus is on your healing and empowerment, so you can move forward with clarity whether or not your partner chooses to do their own work.
